Frequently Asked Questions

The best way to schedule an appointment is to call 517-344-0913, if you are directed to the voicemail please leave your name, phone number, and reason for calling and we will give you a call back to schedule an appointment. We offer both in person and online services. 

Please bring your insurance card, and your driver's license or government identification to your first appointment. 

For youth under age 18, please bring copies of all legal guardians driver's license or government identification. For families with custody agreements, please bring copies of the legal documentation to the first appointment.

We have two locations, one in Jackson and one in Ann Arbor. In Jackson we are located on the 2nd floor of the Sky Professional Suites in Suite 210B at 300 W Washington Ave. Jackson, MI. 

In Ann Arbor we are located at 321 S Main St. Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Dr. Rodriguez and Scott's office is located near the rear (alley side) of the building in room 208/209. Abby's office is located near the front (street side) of the building in room 217. 

For the Jackson office, we ask that you sit in the waiting room and your counselor will come out to greet you when they are ready, you do not need to check in at the desk. 

For the Ann Arbor office, if you are seeing Abby we ask that you take a seat in the hallway in the seats at the top of the stairs and your counselor will come out to greet you when they are ready. If you are seeing Scott or Dr. Rodriguez, there is a small waiting room that is through the door labeled 208, you may take a seat in one of the chairs inside this door and we will come get you at the time of your session. 

Yes! You can provide and share information with your therapist via our patient portal. After scheduling with a therapist, when you provide a valid email address you will receive access to the portal. Through the portal you will be able to see your scheduled appointments, sign  and share documentation with your therapist.

When a session is missed without notice, it prevents us from offering that time to other clients who may need support, and we may also become concerned about your well-being. To help us maintain availability and continuity of care, a $50 no-show fee is charged if you miss an appointment without notifying your clinician or the office in advance.

The most convenient parking option is the Fourth & William Parking Garage, located directly behind the office building. Parking costs $1.65 per hour. Free neighborhood parking is also available north of Huron Street and west of Main Street, but please be sure to read all posted signs carefully to ensure you’re in a permitted area.
